My journey with SAN Media has been a dynamic ascent. I progressed from the role of a marketing executive to the esteemed position of Head of Marketing within SAN Media. Implementing our Chairman’s vison of transforming our in house ERP to SaaS subscription model was my biggest responsibility, eventually Pharma SFA got evolved and garnering positive feedback. securing a major order from BAL Pharma in 2007.
Later Mobile reporting in 2014 and e-detailing in 2017 were introduced, as a team we focus enhancing the Sales force automation software in both Pharma and FMCG industry in the aspect of driving customer engagement as well as revenue generation.
San Media’s culture helped me attain an identity in the pharma SFA industry. It had opened a gateway for international market collaboration.
Many international pharma events organised by CPHI, provided an opportunity to visit and engage with industry experts across India, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Thailand and Spain.
When we talk to our clients, whether it be during a demo session or an onboarding session, we don't just convey things, but we interact with them. Through this process, we start learning about their needs, and customising our software solution based on their requirements, but it could also be considered a challenge to fulfill their needs. Price could be considered the second challenge. Drafting a price that is not only negotiable but satisfying for both the vendor and the client is important.
One of the top 25 companies in the pharmaceutical industry, FDC Limited, has over 5000 users who have started using our software. Additionally, Blue Cross Labs Pharma and Medley Pharma, both among the top 50 companies in the pharmaceutical industry with more than 2000 users, are utilising our software for sales force automation. These are the greatest achievements of my career thus far. I also had many opportunities to explore the different aspects of international penetration.
Outside my professional life, I enjoy keeping myself updated by reading articles on technology, which helps me stay informed about the latest innovations in the tech world. Another area of interest for me is farming and dedicating my time to my farms in my native place. Engaging in farming activities and caring for livestock animals in a green, natural environment helps me maintain a healthy work-life balance.
This year, we aim to expand the software product’s reach to the international market and intend to penetrate more pharmaceutical companies within the top 25 in the domestic market.
